WFOT

Bulletin(会報)の記事募集停止

At the Council Meeting 2022 held in Paris, the WFOT Council voted to discontinue its agreement with Taylor & Francis who currently publish the WFOT Bulletin.
Advances in technology and new ways of communicating have enabled WFOT to consider different ways to meet the original aims of the Bulletin.
Discontinuation of the publishing agreement with Taylor & Francis in 2024 will provide opportunity for WFOT to invest
in other forms of communication that better meets the needs of the Federation and the occupational therapy community.
As a result of this decision, new submissions for publication in the Bulletin will be suspended from the 1st December 2022.
Please contact us if you have questions, or visit our Frequently Asked Questions on the WFOT website.
We will continue to keep you informed as we work through the logistics of the discontinuation of the contract with Taylor & Francis.

World Rehabilitation Alliance

WRAは5つの優先事項(rehabilitation workforce, primary care, research, emergencies and external relations)があります。

WFOT has joined as a member of the newly formed World Rehabilitation Alliance (WRA).
WRA is an informal network of the World Health Organization (WHO) that includes non-state actors,
intergovernmental organisations and member states with a mission to support the strengthening of health systems to provide rehabilitation as an integral part of Universal Health Coverage.
The goal of WRA is to raise the profile of rehabilitation at a global, regional, national and local level through evidence-based advocacy activities and
by increasing networking and knowledge sharing within the rehabilitation sector.
WRA will have five workstreams, addressing the rehabilitation workforce, primary care, research, emergencies and external relations.
WFOT President Samantha Shann serves as co-chair of the workforce stream and a member of the WRA Steering Committee.
